What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Reely Inc. ("we," "us," or "Reely") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you visit reely.com, create a Reely account, upload footage or scripts, or use any Reely editing or rendering features.

Reely is an AI video editing tool. The most important type of information we handle is the content you upload — your raw footage, scripts, voiceovers, brand assets, and the videos we render for you. This policy explains what happens to that content, and what doesn't.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly

Account details (name, email address, organization), billing information processed by our payment provider, brand assets you upload (logos, fonts, color palettes, motion presets), scripts and instructions you submit to the editor, and any messages you send through our support channels.

Content you upload

When you use Reely, you upload content for the AI to process. This includes raw video footage, audio files, voiceovers, scripts, reference videos, captions, and any other media required to produce a finished edit. Your content remains yours — uploading it to Reely does not transfer ownership to us.

Generated and derived content

Reely produces output content — finished video edits, generated captions, applied transitions, music selections, and rendered files. We process and temporarily store this output to deliver it to you and enable revisions.

Information collected automatically

When you use our website or application, we collect analytics events, pageview data, approximate device and browser information, IP address, referral information, and product usage telemetry such as which features you use and how renders perform. We use this to keep the service running and improve reliability.

How we use information

Core service delivery

We process your uploaded footage, scripts, and brand assets solely to deliver the editing, rendering, and export features you request. When you ask Reely to caption a clip, apply your brand style, or render a finished video, we use your content to perform that specific task. This is the primary and prominent purpose of our service.

Service improvement

We use aggregated and anonymized usage data — such as average render times, feature adoption, error rates, and crash logs — to improve the reliability and performance of Reely. We do not use the actual content of your videos, audio, or scripts to improve our service beyond delivering the specific edits you request.

Website analytics and marketing

We use standard analytics and advertising measurement tooling on our website to understand pageviews, sign-up flow, feature interest, and campaign performance.

Security and compliance

We use information to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our terms.

AI processing and model training

We do not train our AI models on your content. Your videos, audio, scripts, and brand assets are processed only to deliver the specific edits you request — and are never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI or machine learning model, whether ours or a third party's.

Reely uses artificial intelligence to understand pacing, apply styling, generate captions, sync music, and perform other editing tasks. Your content is processed by AI models in real time to fulfill your instructions. We do not retain copies of your content beyond what is necessary to complete the requested action, maintain your project files for your access, and deliver the finished output.

If you ever want your content excluded from any aggregated analytics — even anonymized — you can opt out in your account settings or by contacting us.

Human access to your content

Access to your uploaded content by Reely personnel is strictly limited to authorized team members who need it to operate, maintain, support, and secure the service. This includes activities such as debugging issues, monitoring render quality, responding to support requests when you grant permission, ensuring security, and complying with applicable law.

We maintain internal access controls so that only authorized personnel can access user content, and we log access events for accountability.

Data sharing and third parties

Service providers

We share data with infrastructure, hosting, AI, and cloud service providers that help us operate Reely. These providers process data only on our behalf and under contractual obligations to protect your information. Our primary infrastructure providers include cloud hosting providers (United States), AI inference providers (United States), and our payment processor.

Music and asset licensing

Reely's library of background music, sound effects, fonts, and stock visuals is licensed from third-party providers. Use of these assets in your rendered videos is governed by Reely's commercial-use license, included with every paid plan and the free tier.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information or uploaded content. We do not share your videos or scripts with advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers. We do not use your content for any purpose other than delivering the Reely service.

Legal and safety disclosures

We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Storage, security, and location

Your content and account data are stored on servers located in the United States. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption. We use role-based access controls and scoped service accounts to limit access to infrastructure and data. We are continually improving our security practices as our product and team grow.

Retention and deletion

Retention periods

• Uploaded source content (raw footage, audio, scripts) is retained for the duration of your active project and for 90 days after project completion, after which it is automatically deleted unless you choose to keep it.

• Rendered output (finished videos) is retained in your account until you delete it or close your account.

• Account information is retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after closure.

• Website analytics data is retained for up to 26 months.

Deletion upon request

You may request deletion of your content or your entire account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at privacy@reely.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Deletion upon account termination

When you close your account, we will delete all uploaded content, rendered output, and associated personal data within 14 business days. Aggregated and anonymized data that cannot be associated with any individual may be retained for analytical purposes.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access your data and receive a copy, the right to correct inaccurate data, the right to request deletion of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Children's privacy

Reely is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our product, services, or legal requirements evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page and, where required by law, notify you by email or through the application. Your continued use of Reely after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
